SAN DIEGO BIKE SHOPS:  Below is a partial list of quality bike shops in the San Diego area.  All riders participating in a Shadow Tour event are strongly encouraged to have your bicycle tuned-up before the ride.  Questionable tires, brakes, chains, etc, should be replaced before embarking on a challenging century ride.  At the very minimum, the bicycle needs a safety inspection by a qualified bicycle mechanic prior to the event.  Want to help your favorite bike shop?  Have the manager contact Jim at Shadow Tour to have their store listed.  Some shops offer discounts to Shadow Tour riders, so be sure to ask.
