6. Training:  The Stagecoach Century is now just one month away.  With holidays directly in front of us, now is a great time to get an early start on your 2007 riding season.  The Stagecoach Century course is front-loaded in terms of difficulty, meaning there are several long climbs to the turn-around point, with a fast, mostly descending return to the finish.  Nonetheless, any century ride is a long ride, even for experienced and well-conditioned cyclists.  We encourage you to begin your training early and use common sense—don’t try to overdo it.  The course is much more enjoyable when you ride a distance and speed commensurate with your level of conditioning and weather conditions present on January 13th, 2007.

We send our very best wishes for a safe and happy holiday season!
