Team Time Trial (TTT) Team Formation Process:

Updated:  11-06-09

1.  Each team member needs to first individually register for the Shadow Tour event (click here to register) and obtain a valid Bib #.

2.  The team selects a Team Captain.

3.  The Team Captain is responsible to download and accurately complete the Team Roster Form.  Click below to download the appropriate form:

    a.  Stagecoach Century Team Roster Form:  Click here

    b.  Salton Sea Century:  Event retired 2009

    c.  Spring Stagecoach Century:  Event retired 2009

Team Captain will insure each team member initials the Team Roster acknowledging it is correct and true.

4.  The Team Captain will send an informal email to Jim (click on "Jim") notifying Shadow Tour of your intention to form a team and the Team's name, Division, and Home City, and State.  This is for planning purposes only and does not obligate the team.  It's just to let Shadow Tour know in order to post general information about TTT Teams on the website and begin planning.

5.  On Saturday morning, at the event, the Team Captain will verify the final team composition and may make any necessary changes, to include team member changes.  The final team compositon, must be completely accurate and legible, with team member initials on the Team Roster Form before checking in with the Timing Marshal in the vicinity of the Start Chute.

6.  Beginning at 6:30 A.M. Team Captains (only) must check in with the Timing Marshal to receive their official Start Time.  Start time intervals will vary but teams will be at least 15 seconds apart, with the first team departing precisely at 7:00 A.M. first come, first served, until the final official starting window for TTT's closes at 8:00 A.M. sharp.

7.  Teams must check-in before 7:00 A.M. to assure securing a Start Time, see TTT Rules.  Teams arriving prior to 8:00 A.M. will be given a starting time, with no penalty.  Teams checking in after 8:00 A.M. incur a 15 minute penalty.

8.  All team members must be thoroughly familiar with the TTT Rules , the century route and the Riders Final Instructions.  Cue sheets will be provided to all riders at packet pick-up Friday and Saturday according to times posted in the event timelines (see appropriate ride for more specific details).
